This book is promoted as a mystery, even in the subtitle, but what it really is is a fluffy romance. There's certainly no 'sleuth' about it, and sadly, the writing of this book falls far short of the competence one expects in a published work. Stringent editing, to weed out homophone errors and the several continuity issues, would do a lot for it. From the point where anything actually starts happening, about halfway through the book, it was so clumsily written that I had trouble following it.
With a lot more work, and appropriate targeting, more could have been made of it, but basically it lacks substance.
